Meet the Team

Kerry was the founder of Northern Kids Theatre Company back in 1986 before it became NK Theatre Arts at the turn of the century.  As Artistic Director, Kerry will work alongside show directors and producers and is responsible for ensuring all productions and events undertaken by NK are of the highest possible quality.

Darren deals with the finance and administration of NK Theatre Arts and The Forum Theatre.  This includes all the various contracts with theatre hirers, liaising with Stockport Council regarding our ongoing partnership and residency at The Forum Theatre.  He co-ordinates the Trustee Meetings and is also responsible for the Company Website.

Hayley takes care of the many workshops which are run for children, young people and adults at NK Theatre Arts, ensuring the highest quality workshops are delivered for our members, leading a team of accomplished volunteer tutors.

Dominic is responsible for the many productions that NK present each year, covering all of the different elements which need planning properly in order for a high quality performance being achieved.  Dominic also deals with of all of the Technical elements within the auditorium and caters for visiting productions to the Forum.  He also produces all of the fliers and posters for NK shows.

Dawn ensures that all of the events that are housed at the forum theatre runs like clockwork, looking after the staffing and all of the event operations at The Forum Theatre.  This also includes Bar Management.   Dawn also is responsible forthe implimentation of our work with schools and is a regular practitioner/actress with our Theatre in Education Team. 

Terry looks after the upkeep of the building and prepares the versatile auditorium for whichever event it is next hosting, be it workshops, performances or private functions.  Terry also is responsible for obtaining advertising for our Theatre display screens and theatre brochures.

Diane is based in our Box Office on a Monday-Wednesday and deals with the front line day to day administration and the many enquiries we receive at the Forum Theatre.

Emma assists Hayley with our workshop co-ordination and also takes responsibility for private signing lessons at NKTA and also plays a key role in the pastoral care of our members.

Dave ensures that all of our productions and events have a safe stage in which to play.  This includes leading a team of set builders and prop makers and working with many of the external users of The Forum who require Stage Management.  Dave also handles the Health and Safety at The Forum.
